This results in a growing need for brands to stand out optically so as not to be confused with the competition.
Such a distinction is achieved through the creation of the company logo, a set of components that work together to form a recognizable face in our minds. Depending on the client, branding can include uniforms, car logos, business cards, merchandise identification, photo design, mugs, advertisements, and various other products, including the choice of font on the website.
It is necessary to note that when we look at it, we do not read it first. Color is what we see first and foremost, and if that's enough to grab our attention, then keep reading. In all cases, whatever the merchandise, the logo is a tiny but essential element to identify the company. Our job as designers is to distill the essence of a product into the shape and color that is most likely to endure, because graphic appearance plays a crucial role in creating a link between what we see and how we see it. (a product). In many ways, the commercial emblem is identical to the expressions of our loved ones.
When the right emblem or logo is paired with a great product and has been around for quite some time, it gradually becomes a valuable asset to any business. The Nike logo, the golden arches of McDonald's, the Michelin man, the three-pointed star of Mercedes, the symbol of the wool brand: these are just some of the most prominent examples. However, despite its ubiquitous nature, how do you give the target the best chance of achieving comparable status? All good logo designs have common traits, and I've highlighted a few of them here to help improve the consistency of the brands you create.
01. Lay the foundation
One of the most fascinating aspects of becoming a designer is that you experience different things with each new project. Every consumer is different, and even in the same industry, people go about their jobs in different ways.
To build consensus on your design idea, you need to ask the client the right questions from the start: Why are you here? What are you doing and how are you doing it? What makes you different? Who are you here for? Despite all this, why do you trust? These questions may seem very simple, but they can be difficult to answer, so they can contribute to further concerns about your customers' business. What you find at this point in the project can help you decide the best design course possible.
02. Create a model in a sketchbook
Using a sketch pad is an opportunity to take our eyes out of the veil of colorful pixels that seem to dominate our lives. More importantly, understanding different ideas would be much easier since there is no real device between our hands and mind. And when you wake up at night and feel like you don't want to make sacrifices, the best place to remind yourself is a pen and paper on your pillow. When explaining conceptual concepts to clients before scanning an image, it can be helpful to share a drawing or two so they can more easily visualize the effect without being distracted by fonts and colors. Don't share too much, just the best ideas.
03. Work in black and white.
Leaving the color for last allows you to focus on the basics of the design and not something that is much more difficult to change. Bad design won't be outweighed by a convincing comparison, but good design will still please, regardless of tone. Imagine a family symbol. Now think about it. It is the shape that we recognize in front of the palette. There's the patterns, the shapes, the image, whether it's an apple, three parallel bars, four horizontal circles, whatever.
04. Keep it good
A logo must be relevant to the ideas and activities it represents. The fancy font is better suited to an upscale restaurant than a classroom. A fluorescent pink and yellow color palette won't help in attracting male retirees.
Developing a sign that looks like a swastika, regardless of the company, will not succeed. You study all these things. We are really open for you. However, this is a bit faster. The more reasonable the justification for a commercial product, the better it will sell the idea to the consumer. And this can also be the most difficult aspect of a search. 05. Purpose of speedy recovery
Simplicity enhances presence, especially when so many companies are competing for our attention.
